Sacramento Kings’ forward Ron Artest has recently created his own personal segment on KHTK, a local radio station in Sacramento. He calls it “Radio Ron-Ronâ€, and uses this platform to discuss any and all hot topics.  He tested his interview skills with Kings’ center Spencer Hawes last week, and is scheduled to interview ESPN’s Marc Stein next week. After that, he plans to interview John Green – the Detroit fan who threw a cup of beer at Artest during the “Malice at the Palace†brawl in 2004. As reported by the Sacramento Bee:  Apparently, Green has already been tracked down and appears to be on board with the plan. No date has been set, but the buzz grew enough that Fox’s Best Damn Sports Show caught wind of it and wanted Artest to do the interview in their LA studio.  Instead, Artest plans to conduct the interview at his house, which could prompt Best Damn Sports Show to send a video crew to capture what figures to be a highly anticipated event.  Artest announced his intentions during the interview with Hawes, and even went as far as asking Hawes what he would do if he was hit with a beer while standing on the free throw line.  The quick-witted Hawes responded by saying, “I probably wouldn’t go into the stands to go after them. That probably wouldn’t be what I’d do. That’d be a tough one.†OTHER NEWS ACROSS THE BUSINESS OF SPORTS NETWORK
